OTN Push Report

Summary:

With the conclusion of February's push, we've officially wrapped up the first push of 2024! This push saw a total of 563 issues across all the nodes. This makes it the third-largest push to date. Despite the relatively low amount of update and fix projects, the last two pushes have been quite large, averaging 590 issues. Given the current amount of open tickets, we anticipate a similar volume of issues for the upcoming push.

Additionally with closing out this push, we have also finished up the first stages of a revamp of our reporting and statistical systems. We've introduced new automated mechanisms to track push-related statistics for nodes and to generate comprehensive reports post-push. Our objective is to revert to more frequent post-push check-ins and provide node managers with reports encompassing push information and statistics specific to their node. These check-ins and reports serve not only as a way for us to get information to node managers but also as a valuable channel for you to relay feedback to us. We are open for feedback regarding the format or specific details you'd like to see in these check-ins or reports. Our aim is to arm nodes with any valuable insights they may need. In the first version of the new automated reports, we have mainly stuck to familiar graphs. However, we have introduced a new graph, of the major contributing projects to the total number of unmatched detections for your Node. Positioned at the bottom of the graphs section, this new feature showcases the largest 20 projects, segmented by year. It's a new addition that we hope will offer even more insight into the detection landscape.
